Profile Heijen is now hiring the Tire mechanic/Truck tire mechanic!

As a Tire mechanic at Profile Heijen your responsibilities will include:

  • Properly positioning a car on the lift;
  • Removing and installing the wheels of the car;
  • Removing balance weights;
  • Demounting and mounting tires on the rim;
  • Checking the tire rotation direction;
  • Balancing the wheel;
  • Retightening wheel bolts with a torque wrench to the correct torque;
  • Considering the presence of TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System);
  • Measuring tire tread depth and marking tires;
  • Performing a visual inspection, including the braking system installation;

You will be working in a car mechanic garage, which includes big dealers, small garages, and family garages.

Job Contract: Temporary (with a possibility of becoming permanent contract)

Skills

  • CV in English is required to apply for this position;
  • Completion of a training program as an assistant mechanic, automotive technician, or any other relevant automotive training;
  • Experience in similar tasks or a similar role;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
  • Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.
