As a Welder in the Netherlands, you are at the heart of precision manufacturing — translating technical designs into real-world components with millimetre accuracy.
Set up, calibrate, and operate welding machines (MIG/MAG or TIG) according to production specifications and safety protocols.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine weld paths, dimensions, and material requirements.
Clean, bevel, and align metal parts (carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminium) using clamps, tacks, and fixtures before final welding.
Perform dimensional inspections and visual quality checks on weld seams to identify defects, porosity, or cracks, ensuring compliance with ISO 5817 standards.
Monitor welding parameters (current, voltage, gas flow) during production, identify equipment malfunctions, and perform minor adjustments.
Perform routine maintenance on welding torches, nozzles, and gas lines, keeping the workspace organized and compliant with 5S and safety standards.
You don't need to tick every box — but the more experience you bring, the higher the salary and the faster the placement.
Proven experience operating MIG/MAG (process 135/136) or TIG (process 141) welding machines in a production environment. Entry-level candidates with vocational training are also considered.
Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D technical drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication specifications.
A working knowledge of English (B1 level or above) is required to communicate with colleagues and supervisors. Dutch language skills are appreciated but not mandatory.
Meticulous approach to quality and precision. The ability to produce clean, uniform welds with minimal spatter and maintain consistent output throughout a shift is essential.
