Why the Netherlands?

Europe's logistics powerhouse

The Netherlands sits at the heart of European freight, home to Rotterdam — the largest port on the continent — and Schiphol, one of the EU's busiest cargo airports. Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) estimates a structural national shortage of more than 15,000 professional drivers, and employers are responding with higher pay, better conditions, and long-term contracts.

Top European wages

The Dutch transport sector offers some of the highest driver wages in Europe. Experienced international and hazardous materials (ADR) drivers earn up to €4,500 gross per month, with shift premiums on top.

Accommodation provided

Agency-provided housing is available near your base for approximately €100 per week, deducted directly from your salary — far below Dutch market rates for private rentals.

Career security

A rapidly ageing workforce means the driver shortage is structural, not temporary. Secure a position now and you will have exceptional job stability and strong bargaining power for years ahead.

English-friendly

The Netherlands ranks #1 globally for English proficiency among non-native speakers. You will communicate efficiently with planners, warehouse staff, and clients in English without needing Dutch.

Strong worker rights

The sector-wide collective labour agreement (CAO) guarantees robust protections: mandatory holiday pay (8% of gross salary), paid leave, pension contributions, and strict compliance with driving and rest time rules.

Modern fleets

Dutch logistics companies invest heavily in their equipment. You will operate modern, well-maintained vehicles with digital tachographs, advanced safety systems, and comfortable cabins for overnight routes.
