Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Zinc and Copper Worker to join our team. This role focuses on applying roofing materials and maintaining roofing structures. The ideal candidate will have experience working on both sloped and flat roofs and demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship in handling zinc and copper materials.

Responsibilities:

• Applying roofing on pitched and flat roofs.
• Folding, soldering, nailing, and screwing roofing materials.
• Installing gutters, connections, and slates.
• Taking precise measurements and cutting materials to fit.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
• Inspecting and maintaining roofing structures.
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a zinc and copper worker or in a similar roofing role – at least 1 year.
• Proficiency in folding, soldering, nailing, and screwing techniques.
• Strong understanding of roofing materials and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.

Work Conditions

• Salary €17.73- 21.34 per hour gross, depending on experience (from 400 eur net/week).
• Hours per Week: 40
• Extra Hours: Possible, depending on workload.
• Shifts: No shifts, standard work schedule.
