Toolmaker for molding machines (from 500€ net/week) Nederweert, in Netherlands

Job description

As a toolmaker at this company you are responsible for maintenance, repairs and adjustments to our molds, and thus ensure that the tools run optimally. You will work in our brand new company on the A2 in Nederweert, where we make high-quality technical products from plastic with more than 40 modern injection molding machines and 1,500 moulds. What do we ask of you?

It is important that you have experience as a toolmaker in an injection molding or metal company and are used to working independently and know how to deal with close tolerances. You have a good basic knowledge of tools and can independently make adjustments to complex molds.

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Perform periodic and preventive maintenance on our tools;

• Convert molds from one version to another;

• Carrying out repairs to defective moulds;

• Optimizing and improving poorly running moulds;

• Solving electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems with molds;

• Making adjustments to molds;

• Troubleshooting mold problems in production.

Your profile (requirements):

• CV in English with previous experience is required to apply for this position;
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role is mandatory (preferably in the metal or plastic industry);
• You work precisely and professionally;
• You have a lot of experience with assembling and disassembling tools;
• You can conventionally turn, drill/tapping, milling and grinding;
• You can weld (Micro / Tig welding) or are willing to learn this;
• You have experience with Hotrunners system;
• You have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• You have a safe lifting certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• You can work independently in your field.
