Our client, RetourMatras, is looking for production employees to join their team in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands!

RetourMatras is a Dutch company specializing in recycling discarded mattresses. Founded in 2009, it recovers up to 90% of materials like foam, textiles, and metal through an innovative process, contributing to the circular economy. Operating four facilities in the Netherlands, RetourMatras recycled 1.5 million mattresses in 2022, saving 114 million kilograms of CO2. The company is expanding across Europe to ensure sustainable mattress disposal.

Main Responsibilities

• Work indoors with a middle-to-high physical workload;
• Perform physically demanding tasks;
• Lift and handle heavy materials and objects;
• Stand on the mattress recycling line while manually disassembling mattresses;
• Sort materials efficiently on the line;
• Tidy up and clean around the recycling installation;
• Other related tasks.

The starting salary for this position is €13.68 gross per hour, increasing to €14.06 gross per hour effective January 1, 2025, with a work schedule of 40-45 hours per week, no weekend shifts, and day shifts running from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• CV in English is required to apply for this vacancy;
• Must demonstrate strong motivation and willingness to perform the work;
• Minimum height of 1.70 m, due to the physical demands of the job;
• Must stay for the entire agreed-upon period; holidays to be discussed with the client;
• Must be available to work during Christmas and New Year; no leave is allowed during this period;
• Collaborate with a team of Dutch, Polish, and Romanian employees;
• Willing to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.
