Order Picker with EPT experience (Cheese Warehouse 0°C to +4°C) Netherlands, several locations, in Netherlands

Job description

We are looking for motivated and reliable Order Pickers to join a specialized cheese warehouse team. You will be responsible for collecting customer orders, preparing them for transportation, and ensuring that products are handled correctly and efficiently in a cold storage environment (temperatures ranging from 0°C to +4°C).

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Collect and pick orders according to exact customer requirements.
• Prepare orders for shipment and secure them for transportation.
• Handle and move products safely within the warehouse facility.
• Operate an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) when required.
• Occasionally operate a reach truck or combi truck.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working area following all warehouse safety procedures.

Working Hours & Shifts

Option 1 – Two-Shift System (Rotating Weekly):

• Morning Shift: 06:00 – 15:00
• Afternoon Shift: 15:00 – 00:00 (Employees rotate weekly between morning and afternoon shifts)

Option 2 – Day Shift:

• Standard Shift: 09:00 – 18:00 / 19:00

Salary Allowances & Travel Compensation

In addition to the base salary, employees recieve the following allowances:

Time-Based Allowances & Multipliers:

• • 18:00 – 22:00: 130%
  • 22:00 – 07:00: 140%
  • Saturday (07:00 – 15:00): 130%
  • Saturday (15:00 – 22:00): 160%
  • Saturday (22:00 – 00:00): 220%
  • Sunday (All day): 220%

Travel Allowance: Reimbursed for commuting by private car starting from 10 km at €0.18 per kilometer (maximum reimbursement of €9 per day, equivalent to 25 km).

Working Conditions & Hygiene

• Environment: Cold storage warehouse with operating temperatures between 0°C and +4°C.
• Clothing & Gear: Specialized work clothing provided daily by the company; safety shoes provided at the office.
• Hygiene & Safety: Hairnets and beard nets provided where required; strict adherence to company safety rules.

Candidate Requirements & Preferences

• Experience: Prior warehouse or order-picking experience and experience with EPT mandatory;
• Physical & Personal Traits: Reliable, physically fit, and comfortable working in a cold storage environment.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
