Machine Builder / Mechanical Assembler (Conveyor Systems) (€500 net per week) in Netherlands

Job description

For a growing company in the Netherlands specialized in conveyor systems for warehouses and distribution centers, we are looking for several technically skilled Machine Builders / Mechanical Assemblers.

This position can also be a good match for experienced car mechanics or other mechanical technicians who are used to working with tools, assembling mechanical components and following technical instructions.

Your responsibilities

• Assembling conveyor systems and mechanical components
• Building machines and installations according to technical drawings and instructions
• Installing frames, motors and other mechanical parts
• Using hand tools and workshop equipment
• Making mechanical adjustments and modifications
• Checking completed assemblies for quality and correct operation
• Identifying and solving basic mechanical problems
• Working together with other mechanics and assembly technicians

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a mechanic, machine builder, mechanical assembler or car mechanic
• Good mechanical and technical understanding
• Confident working with different hand tools
• Able to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Accurate and quality-focused way of working
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Motivated to learn and develop within machine construction
• Available to start immediately

Experience specifically with conveyor systems is not required. Candidates with a solid mechanical or automotive background can also be suitable.

What we offer

• Gross hourly rate of €17.00
• Salary approximately €500 net per week
• 40 hours per week
