Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a Clearance/Liquidation Worker, you will perform physical tasks to prepare greenhouses for new crop cycles across 4 different production locations. Main responsibilities include:

• Removing old, non-producing tomato plants from greenhouse rows.
• Disposing of cleared plants into designated disposal containers.
• Clearing and removing old plastic floor coverings once greenhouses are empty.
• Laying and installing new plastic floor coverings to prepare the greenhouse for new planting.

The schedule is Monday through Saturday, starting at 06:30 until 16:30 (Sundays are off). There are 2 scheduled breaks per shift.

• Work Environment: Indoor greenhouse setting with warm temperatures ranging between +20 °C and +35 °C.
• Overtime Pay: Work exceeding 10 hours per day or 48 hours per week is compensated at 150%.
• Clothing & Footwear:

Greenhouse work clothing is provided (candidates should bring 2 personal T-shirts and comfortable, lightweight trousers for the first few days).

Employees must bring 2 pairs of work shoes to change into. Outdoor shoes are strictly prohibited inside the greenhouse.

Candidate Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Strong physical condition and stamina to perform heavy physical labor in warm conditions.
• Hygiene & Safety Rules:
  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the greenhouse.
  • Bringing food or external goods into the greenhouse is prohibited.
• Availability: Willingness to work in the Netherlands on a long-term basis.
• Accommodation: Living in two people room, willing to share all common areas (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) with other tenants.
