Job description

Our partner is in the business of providing entertainers and animators, professional show events, and hotel staff to hotels & resorts, tour operators, and fun parks in European destinations. 

They are currently looking for experienced waiters to join their team in Greece!  You have to be available to work until minimum November the end of the season. 

As a waiter, you play a crucial role in ensuring the guests in the hotel are warmly welcomed and provided with a memorable dining experience.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Welcoming guests and seating them;
• Checking if there is enough cutlery, plates, and glasses for everyone at the table;
• Tidying up tables after the guests leave and preparing them for the new meals, including setting up linens, silverware, and glassware;
• Showing your knowledge about the menu and ensuring guest satisfaction;
• Bringing a smile to guests’ faces;
• Following the company’s service etiquette,
• Ensuring a polite and clean appearance all the time;
• Being aware of food and beverage service;
• Making sure every guest is enjoying their holiday. 

The starting salary for this position is €900–€1100 net/month, depending on your previous experience. Taxes and health insurance are included, as well as board and airport transfers.

The accommodation is in a 2-person room and is free of charge. In this position, you will also get three warm meals daily from hotel restaurants.

All candidates work six days a week, from Monday to Sunday, for 48 hours per week. There is a possibility of earning additional income through promotion.

Requirements:

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• Previous experience working as a waiter is mandatory;
• An enthusiastic and bubbly personality;
• Speaking any additional language besides English will be considered a plus;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Availability to stay in Greece for six months.
