Job description

Our partner Van de Wijgert Recycling is a company that recycles wood and refurbishes pallets. For more than 25 years it has been an affordable company with modern recycling solutions and a fleet of logistics services.  

The company is currently looking for production workers to join its team! The workplace consists of 2 parts: inside and outside.

Your daily tasks will include: 

  • inside the hall employees are repairing pallets with tools;
  • outside – sorting large piles of wood;
  • insure to reach a daily target that has to be met by the whole team;
  • report to the shift supervisor any product defects;
  • following safety regulations and institutions; 
  • other requested tasks, if necessary.

The company is looking for stable, long-term employees. Work is organized in one shift.

Work can be physically demanding, work on feet, bending, and lifting pieces of wood!

Skills

  • CV in English is needed to apply for this position;
  • Previous production experience will be a plus;
  • Ability to work with simple tools;
  • Ready to work both inside and outside;
  • Ready for a physical job, work on feet, lifting wood parts;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ready to work and live together with multiple nationalities; 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team;
  • Availability to stay in the Netherlands long-term.
