Production worker (construction materials) Goor, in Netherlands

Job description

Our partner Geldersche Houtbouw is currently looking for production workers to join its team in Goor. The company has a streamlined workshop of 2000 m2 where employees work with modern equipment and different types of timber. More than 250 wooden outbuildings, from small to large, are produced every year.

Your daily tasks will include: 

• sorting different wood boards based on given criteria;
• simple production tasks inside the production hall; 
• operating machinery (in few weeks/months after training);
• quality control and product packing; 
• following safety instructions and regulations;
• maintaining work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion;
• other related tasks may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis if needed.

It’s a long-term, full-time job offer.  Work is organized from 8:00 to17:00. Starting hourly rate is €11,00 gross with the possibility of rase after training of new tasks. 

The working environment can be cold, open warehouse (temperature same as outside). Work can be physically demanding, walking and lifting wood boards.

The company will proved you with basic training and working equipment.
