Job description

Hessing BV is a leading European company with over 50 years of expertise in cutting and processing fresh fruits and vegetables into ready-to-cook products. They supply millions of packs of high-quality produce to supermarkets, fast food chains, wholesalers, catering companies, and inflight caterers across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Denmark.

Our partner is currently looking for a production knife sharpener to join their team!

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assembling and disassembling the set of blades in the machines according to instructions;
  • Exchanging blades using different tools (screwdrivers, torque wrenches, etc.);
  • Sharpening knives;
  • Labeling the blades and knives;
  • Compiling and controlling sharpening times according to plans.

The starting salary is between €13.60 and €15 gross per hour, depending on experience.

This is a long-term, full-time job opportunity.
