Job description

Our partners in the Netherlands Vomar are an important player in the Dutch food market. Vomar is a quality discounter in the Netherlands, meaning they offer the best quality products at the lowest price. The company is currently looking for order pickers to join their distribution center located in Alkmaar.

Working as an order picker your daily tasks will include: 

  • Picking orders, moving them, driving EPT;
  • Packing orders and preparing for transport;
  • Checking the quality of the orders; 
  • Following warehouse safety instructions and regulations; 
  • Other related warehouse tasks. 

The orderpicking system is in Dutch, so the company will teach you the numbers and colors in Dutch, which is enough to be able to use it.

This is a long-term, full-time job offer. Work is organized in shifts and they can start from 5 am till the daily work is done (usually ~8h).  Sundays are always off.

The company will provide you with working clothes and shoes.

Skills

  • CV in English is needed to apply for this vacancy;
  • EPT driver experience, the certificate will be a plus; 
  • Motivation to work in an international and multicultural company;
  • Ability to work in shifts, be flexible and work on weekends if needed;
  • Good English skills and ability to work with computers;
  • Ready to learn the numbers and colors in Dutch;
  • Planning to stay in the Netherlands and work for the long term.
