Job description

Our partner Jumbo is a well-known supermarket chain. They take care of home delivery orders at our distribution site in Bleiswijk. The site in Bleiswijk is newly built and has 800 employees working there every day. 

The company is currently looking for order pickers to join its team! 

Your daily tasks will include: 

  • checking existing orders by scanning them, correctly processing incoming and outgoing goods;
  • sort, pack and assemble goods for customers;
  • prepare export orders for dispatch, load, and unload goods; 
  • quality control of products, informing the shift supervisor of any product defects;
  • compliance with safety instructions and regulations; 
  • other related warehouse tasks.

This is a long-term, full-time job offer. Work is organized in different shifts depending on the department.

The company provides good guidance during the start period, as well as further training and career development opportunities. Free coffee and hot drinks, evening shift gets free dinner.

Work can be physically demanding, work on feet, bending, and lifting boxes!

  • CV in English is needed to apply for this position;
  • Previous experience as an order picker will be an advantage;
  • Ready for a physical job, work on feet, lifting boxes;

  • Ready to work and live together with multiple nationalities; 
  • Good computer literacy, able to learn quickly; 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team;
  • Availability to stay in the Netherlands long-term.
