Job description

Agro Merchants is a temperature-controlled warehouse where they process fresh and frozen meat products which are already packed. 

Your main task in the warehouse will be detecting metal, this will be done in groups of 3.  Metal detection is done for clients to make sure there are no metal parts in the boxes with products, placing the boxes, and checking them for metal parts with the help of a machine.

As a logistics team member your tasks may include:

• general logistics warehouse duties
• metal detection (groups of 3)
• EPT driving
• bringing pallets, sealing pallets after metal detection.
• Putting boxes from pallet to metal detection line. (up to 35kg)
• other duties like repairing pallets, putting on stickers.
• Kantelwerk (placing pallets into a special machine to take out the spacers between the boxes after freezing)

This is a physically demanding job, workers are required to be in good physical condition. Flexibility with work schedules will be required, and overtime and working on the weekends are a possibility.
