Van Brakel Organic is a greenhouse that works primarily with cucumbers. They have been growing crops completely organically since 2000, and since 2015, they have been a member of the organic growers’ cooperative Nautilus Organic.

Our partner is looking for greenhouse workers to join their team in Poortvliet, Netherlands!

As a greenhouse worker, you will take care of the plants from the beginning, which includes weaving the plants in, cutting cucumbers and leaves, sorting the cucumbers in the sorting machine, etc. Van Brakel Organic is an organic company, so most of the work is done by hand, and it’s a little heavier than a normal greenhouse.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Weaving and caring for the plants;
• Cutting leaves;
• Cutting cucumbers;
• Sorting cucumbers;
• Packing cucumbers.

The starting salary is €11.75 gross per hour. You will work in a dayshift, and the starting time is between 6 AM and 8 AM.
