Job description

Kooiker Logistiek is a renowned transport company from Almelo, established in 1934, and they have grown to become extremely innovative in their field. They are based in Deventer and handle the distribution for their customer. As a company, in addition to transport, they have specialized as a full service provider in logistics, storage & distribution.

They are currently seeking C Truck Drivers to join their team! 
As a driver, you take care of the loading, transport and correct and timely delivery a variety of food and drinks in the north and east of the Netherlands to different catering companies.

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving and operating trucks;
  • Load goods onto the vehicle carefully and securely;
  • Safely transport goods to their respective destinations;
  • Unload goods with precision and care upon arrival;
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and trip results, reporting them to the planning department;
  • Complete and manage all necessary documentation correctly;
  • Keep the vehicle well-maintained and clean at all times;
  • Making stops by following the schedule;

    • You perform all work together with a colleague.

    You will work 40-50 hours per week.

    Accommodation provided  –  shared rooms for two individuals.

    Skills

    • CV in English
    • Valid C driver's license and code 95 required, CE license a plus;
    • Own car is mandatory;
    • Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience;
    • Positive, customer-oriented and flexible attitude;
    • Willingness to work with diverse nationalities;
    • Availability for an extended stay in the Netherlands.
