Our partner, GP-Connect, is a full-service employment agency made up of a team of experienced people. Their mission is to provide the best work abroad experience to young international hospitality talents around Europe.

They are currently looking for help cooks with experience to join their team in the Netherlands!

As a help cook, you will be responsible for the following:

• Following the company's service etiquette;
• Ensuring a polite and clean appearance all the time;
• Serving guests and taking orders;
• Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing;
• Cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes and utensils, and preparing ingredients prior to meal service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or cleaning seafood;
• Other related tasks to keep restaurant service in order.

This is a long-term and full-time job opportunity, with 38–40 hours a week and the possibility of working overtime. There are multiple locations throughout the Netherlands, from cities to beach resorts to national parks and castles.

In this position, you will receive training and supervision. You will also work in restaurants with the most modern equipment and a young, ambitious team who, together with you, take up the challenge to surprise the guests with culinary delights every day.

Requirements:

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• 2 years of experience as a Help/Basic cook;
• Enthusiastic and motivated;
• Flexible;
• Proactive;
• Open minded;
• Good attention to detail;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Availability to stay longer in the Netherlands.

Language Comments:

Minimum B2 level of English.
