Job description

Our partner is looking for MIG MAG Welders to join their team in Belgium!

The company was originally founded in a garage and has since grown to become a leading manufacturer of custom stainless steel, metal, and glass products for interior and exterior applications.

As a MIG MAG Welder, you’ll be responsible for the following:

  • Welding – Semiautomatic or electrode;
  • Completing projects such as stairs, fences, pergolas, gates, and more custom constructions from start to finish (from technical drawing to finishing of the constructions);
  • Cutting, folding, sawing, and milling;
  • Sanding of welding seams;
  • Assembling the constructions.

The weekly salary is between €500 and €525 (accommodation cost not included). You will work Monday through Friday, from 6.30 AM to 4 PM, for 40 hours per week. There is also an opportunity to work extra hours.

The first salary is paid on the second Thursday after starting the job. After that, salaries are paid once a week, on Thursdays. 

Your accommodation will be in a single room. There are three different ways to get to work: your own car, an electric bike, and a regular bike. If you use your own car, you will have fuel allowances; an electric bike costs €10 per week, and the regular bike is free. 

You will have a refund of up to €150 based on the first travel ticket and fuel bills, paid after five worked days, with the next salary.

The agency will provide you with work clothes and the necessary equipment.

Skills

  • CV in English is required to apply for this position;
  • Two years experience as a MIG MAG Welder;
  • Able to read technical drawings;
  • Flexible and eager to provide high-quality work;
  • Driver's license is not mandatory in all cases;
  • Good team player and social skills;
  • Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
  • Ready to stay longer in Belgium.
