Job description

As a Workshop Carpenter, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembling of wooden elements such as doors, frames, and panels according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Woodworking: Manufacturing and assembling wooden elements (doors, frames, panels) to precise specifications.
• Machine Handling: Operating woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, and drills safely and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Checking finished products for accuracy, measurements, and quality before delivery or installation.
• Workshop Maintenance: Keeping the workspace clean and organized; performing minor maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet project deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in positioning and installing prefab timber frame walls (HSB) (ate least 2 years).
• Ability to construct and finish wooden and plasterboard bulkheads (koven).
• Skilled at installing and aligning window and door frames (wood, PVC, or aluminum).
• Proficient in measuring and checking construction dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience working with hand and power tools.
• Commitment to ensuring safety and quality standards on the construction site.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: €520 – €540 net per week (based on experience).
• Accommodation: Free accommodation provided.
• Transport: Free car + fuel card provided; the workshop is only 10 km from the house.
• Relocation Support: The agency arranges and pays for the employee’s travel costs to the Netherlands. If the employee works for us for more than 6 weeks, they do not need to repay these travel costs.
