Tire switcher for autumn season POSSIBLE WITHOUT EXPERIENCE (€416 - €455 net per week) in Netherlands

The season is nearly upon us, and the summer tires have to be replaced with winter ones. That means only one thing—our partner is looking for tire mechanics to join their team in The Netherlands – they need tire switchers for multiple clients all over the Netherlands but mostly in Noord-Brabant! The agency cooperates with multiple companies in the Netherlands, ranging from large dealerships to small and family-run garages. Every autumn, we strengthen our teams with additional Tire Switchers to handle the seasonal change from summer to winter tires on our customers’ vehicles.

You will be working in a car mechanic garage, which includes big dealers, small garages, and family garages. Job contract is estimated for 9-13 weeks, but if you perform well, the company will try to place you at a long-term job after the project (in automotive or logistics).

Company prefers candidates with similar previous experience, but if you don’t have it – the agency will take care of it by providing about 2 days training (paid).

Your responsibilities as Tire mechanic will include:

• Properly positioning a car on the lift;
• Removing and installing the wheels of the car;
• Removing balance weights;
• Demounting and mounting tires on the rim;
• Checking the tire rotation direction;
• Balancing the wheel;
• Retightening wheel bolts with a torque wrench to the correct torque;
• Considering the presence of TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System);
• Measuring tire tread depth and marking tires;
• Performing a visual inspection, including the braking system installation;

*** The work is physically demanding, and you will be part of a team in various garage environments.

Requirements:

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• Experience in similar tasks or a similar role (preferred but not mandatory);
• Experience in technical job (preferred);
• Practical and well-organized approach;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Strong communication skills;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Motivated and ready to do physical work – lifting heavy wheels and tires.

Salary:

• Unexperienced candidates: from €416 net/week
• Experienced (1-2 seasons experience): from €431 net/week
• Experienced + (3 and more seasons experience): from €455 net/week

Included: Housing, transport, and health insurance. Shoes provided by the agency; work clothes can be provided. Transport to work by (e)bike, bike, or car (own car: €0.23 per km).
