TIG welder (€550 – €650 net per week) Breda, in Netherlands

Job description

In this position, you will work on stainless steel components and complete machines for the food processing industry. This is a varied role where TIG welding is combined with assembly, metalworking and machine installation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Independently performing TIG welding on stainless steel sheet metal and stainless steel constructions.
• Working accurately according to technical drawings.
• Independently assembling components such as tubes, frames and sheet metal parts.
• Performing additional metalworking activities, including sawing, deburring, aligning, tapping and drilling.
• Checking your own work and delivering a high-quality finished product.
• Assembling complete machines at the production facility in Breda.
• Preparing finished machines for transport.
• Installing machines together with colleagues at customers' locations within the food processing industry.

This position offers plenty of variety: you are involved in the process from individual stainless steel components all the way through to the installation of the finished machine.

Job Requirements:

You are a good fit for this position if you:

• Have a technical MBO diploma, level 2 or higher, or comparable technical education.
• Have proven professional experience with TIG welding (at least 3 years).
• Have experience with assembly and mechanical work.
• Have experience working with stainless steel (RVS).
• Can accurately read and work from technical drawings.
• Are able to assemble components independently.
• Work precisely and have an eye for quality.
• Are comfortable combining welding with different metalworking and assembly activities.
• Are available to work in a day shift.

• Approximately €550–€650 net per week, depending on experience and based on a 40-hour working week.
