Join a dynamic logistics team responsible for supplying the food and hospitality industry. We are looking for detail-oriented Reach Truck Operators to handle essential goods, including groceries and restaurant supplies, ensuring they reach our customers accurately and on time.

What You Will Do

As a Reach Truck Operator, you are the backbone of our warehouse flow. Your responsibilities include:

• Order Fulfillment: Use a reach truck and automated scanning system to collect and move pallets for multiple customers simultaneously.
• Precision Handling: Scan items, apply correct labeling, and ensure every container is assigned to the right route.
• Inventory Quality: Check quantities, report shortages to supervisors, and manage packaging materials for administrative accuracy.
• Safety & Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of your vehicle to ensure peak performance and report any defects to the Group Manager.

The base salary for the role is €15,35 gross per hour.

You will work in a professional warehouse where safety and orderliness are top priorities. Shifts include two unpaid breaks (15 and 30 minutes) to recharge in our fully-stocked canteen. In the canteen, you have free coffee, tea, soda, and fruit. We also offer high-quality sandwiches and hot meals at heavily reduced prices (€0.50 – €2.00).

The client supplies your safety shoes, gloves, jackets, and warm thermal clothing.

Shift Structure

• Training Week: Your first week runs from 07:00 to 15:00 to ensure you are fully up to speed.
• Standard Shift: Following training, you will move to our main shift from 13:00 to 21:00.
• Overtime: During peak periods, shifts may extend until midnight.
• Weekends: Saturdays are almost never required. High performers may occasionally be offered Sunday shifts.

Attractive Surcharges:

• • 25% extra for hours worked between 19:00 and 22:00.
  • 50% extra for hours worked between 22:00 and 04:00.
  • 100% extra (double pay) for Sunday shifts.

Allowances: Receive a cooling allowance of €5.00 per week (based on 10 hours of unloading in our 7°C cooling area).

Requirements

• Reach truck certificate and experience;
• Strong attention to detail for scanning and order handling.
• Ability to work efficiently in both normal and cooled (7°C) environments.
• Reliability and a safety-first mindset regarding heavy machinery.
• Clean criminal record (costs for obtaining this document will be fully reimbursed upon presentation of a receipt).
• Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
