Production Shift Leader (with experience) Waalwijk, in Netherlands

Do you have production experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate and motivate a team?

We are looking for a Shift Leader for a plastic manufacturing company in Waalwijk

. In this position, you combine hands-on production knowledge with responsibility for the daily organization of the team.

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinating work within the production team and distributing tasks among employees.
• Giving employees clear production and work instructions.
• Supervising ongoing production activities, output, and product quality.
• Supporting and instructing Assembly Employees and Operators.
• Discussing production status during shift handovers.
• Identifying production problems, taking appropriate action, and solving operational hurdles.
• Monitoring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Supporting the operation and monitoring of injection moulding machines.
• Ensuring accurate production registration and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

In addition to the base salary, employees receive a 18.5% shift allowance.

Employees will work in a 3-shift rotation:

• • Morning shift: 05:45 – 14:00
  • Afternoon shift: 13:45 – 22:00
  • Night shift: 21:45 – 06:00

Requirements

• Experience in a production environment.
• Preferably experience as an Operator or in a similar technical production role.
• Technical understanding of production processes.
• Ability to coordinate, instruct, and lead employees.
• Responsible and quality-focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and take action when production problems occur.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
• Willing to share a room with other tenants.
