Our partner SIF company is looking for candidates for Plate Roller's / Bender's position.

As a Plate Roller, you will:

• Play a crucial role in rolling and welding steel plates (8 to 11 meters long, up to 110 mm thick) into cylindrical shells.
• Contribute to both serial and custom production, working with unique materials and ensuring high precision.
• Receive detailed instructions and technical drawings to set parameters on the rolling machine and create perfectly round shells and cones.
• Ensure accuracy in your work, closely monitoring the process to meet the required specifications.
• Prioritize safety by wearing the correct protective gear and following prescribed safety procedures.
• Receive training for working with large materials and highly specialized equipment, with a focus on precision and quality.

Requirements:

• Practical knowledge of plate rolling machines, press break machines, or CNC bending.
• A metalworking background and an understanding of how metal behaves under bending stress.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Possession of a valid VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one through HOBIJ).
• Physically fit, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
• Interest in a long-term role with opportunities for growth within the company, potentially relocating to the Netherlands.
• Willingness to undergo a paid training period before starting work.
• Willingness to complete a game-based assessment test during the recruitment process to evaluate cognitive flexibility and problem-solving skills.
