Pig farm worker Limburg, in Netherlands

Job description

Our clients are looking for an all-round worker at the pig farm to join their team in Biest-Houtakker, the Netherlands!

They are also looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with pigs, piglets, and meat pigs in the Limburg area. If you enjoy working with these intelligent animals and have a sense of responsibility, this could be your ideal next job!

Main Responsibilities

• Administering treatments and vaccinations;
• Cleaning stables with a high-pressure washer;
• Moving pigs to different departments;
• Feeding the pigs;
• Other related tasks.

The starting salary for this position is from €15 gross per hour for a 40-hour workweek, will be specified after interview. Weekend work may be required, based on consultation with the client. This is a year-round position, and candidates must commit to staying for the entire period, with holidays arranged with the client. You will be working inside the stables at a comfortable temperature.

Requirements

• Experience in pig farm, at least 1 year;
• CV in English is required to apply for this vacancy;
• Ability to work in a structured and accurate manner;
• Ability to follow hygiene protocols;
• Enthusiasm for working with pigs;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Availability to stay long-term in the Netherlands.
