Our partner Vanderlande is looking for MIG/MAG welders to join their team in Veghel, the Netherlands!

As a MIG/MAG welder within the site management department, you will work on our client's site where their systems will be installed. In a team of several technicians, you will jointly install the automated sorting systems, you will do this based on specifications and drawings. 

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• MIG/MAG welding and assembling according to technical drawings;
• Reporting executed work to the site manager and your line manager;
• Keeping track of installation deviations from the drawings;
• Inspecting and adjusting the quality of welding work as necessary;
• Following safety guidelines and company procedures;
• Maintaining and cleaning welding equipment and tools;
• Working in a team with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient production processes.

Requirements:

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• At least 1 year of work experience or demonstrable experience in a similar position;
• Ability to read and work according to technical drawings on an advanced level;
• Ability to work independently, but also in a team;
• VCA certificate (VCA basic safety course is mandatory for this job. If you still need to get a certificate, it's possible to take the course one day before starting a job);
• Driving license is a big advantage;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Possibility of staying longer in the Netherlands;
• ***Candidates need to be prepared to take an on site-welding test upon arrival!
