Job description

Our client is an international leader in the production of meat, meat products, and plant-based alternatives. They are currently looking for motivated production workers for their Boxtel facility.. In this role, you will play a vital part in sorting, selecting, and preparing high-quality products for retail and industry clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packing and sorting meat products according to customer specifications.
  • Preparing and placing products into boxes.
  • Maintaining clean and safe production areas and cleaning between production lines.
  • Managing the flow of crates throughout the production facility.
  • Hanging hams on hooks.
  • Other general production support tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

The salary for the role is €14.71 per hour, with a standard, 36-hour work week.

Typical starting times are 06:00 – 14:12 or 14:12 – 22:24. Saturday work is required approximately 30 out of 52 weeks per year.

Attractive Allowance Structure:

  • 06:00 – 19:00: 100% (Base)
  • 19:00 – 22:00: 117%
  • 22:00 – 04:00: 135%
  • 04:00 – 06:00: 117%

Overtime: Monday–Friday (after 36 hours or 9 hours/day) is paid at 125%.

  • Saturdays: Rates range from 120% to 162.5% depending on total hours and number of days worked.
  • Sundays: 180%.

Holiday Pay: 8.00% gross holiday allowance on normal hours, paid out with your weekly salary.

Requirements

  • Environment: You will be working in a cold environment (average temperature of 5–7°C).
  • Physical Demands: This is a physically demanding role; you should be comfortable standing and performing manual labor for extended periods.
  • Product Handling: Candidates must be comfortable working directly with unprocessed meat.
  • Flexibility: We require flexibility regarding starting times and availability.
  • Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
  • Partners: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
  • Clean Criminal Record document has to be submitted to work.

Before starting work the Agency will take you to a health check-up to obtain a certificate to work in food industry in the Netherlands (valid 5 years).
