Junior Industrial Electrician (€625 - €650 net per week) Rotterdam area, in Netherlands

Job description

We are looking for motivated Junior Industrial Electricians who are at the beginning of their career and eager to develop in the electrical field. This is an entry-level position for candidates with electrical knowledge, strong technical affinity, and around 1 year of experience.

You will receive on-the-job training, and depending on the project, you will be trained in one of the following areas:

• Installation of ventilation systems in parking garages, or
• Elevator installation (as a helper with growth into independent fitter)

Both paths require commitment, technical curiosity, and willingness to learn, with strong long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of electrical components (switches, sensors, motors)
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Support installation works (ventilation systems or elevators)
• Follow strict safety regulations
• Participate in technical training and development

Requirements:

• Recently completed education in Electrical Engineering
• 1 year of relevant experience in industrial electrical work
• Proven basic electrical knowledge and strong technical affinity
• Ability to read electrical diagrams
• No unrelated work experience (e.g. warehouse, production, etc.)
• Good physical condition
• Strong motivation to build a career as an independent electrician
• Commitment to technical development
• Willingness to learn both electrical and basic mechanical aspects
• Open to long-term growth (e.g. becoming an elevator fitter)
• VCA-B certificate (optional, can be arranged after arrival)

Employment Details

• Salary: €17–21 gross/hour – approx. net salary: €625–650/week
• Selection process: Interview with client
• Working hours: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)
