Junior Construction Plumber (€535 - €575 net per week) Amsterdam, in Netherlands

Job description

We are starting a major sprinkler installation project in Amsterdam with a duration of 1+ year, offering excellent long-term opportunities for reliable and hardworking candidates. We are looking for Plumbers to start immediately. This is a physically demanding role focused on sprinkler pipe fitting. Candidates should have practical experience as a plumber or pipe fitter and be comfortable performing repetitive manual work throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Install sprinkler piping systems on large-scale construction projects
• Press Henco pipes between reinforcement (rebar) structures
• Perform repetitive manual work accurately and efficiently
• Work on wide slab floors and construction sites
• Maintain safety standards and site procedures
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a plumber, pipe fitter, or in construction/utility building
• Physically strong and fit for demanding construction work
• Comfortable working on knees for extended periods
• Basic technical understanding and ability to follow instructions
• Stable CV with relevant experience only (no warehouse or production backgrounds)
• Ability to clearly explain previous work experience
• Photos of previous plumbing or pipe fitting work are a strong advantage
• Hands-on mentality, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Willingness to commit to a long-term project
• VCA-B certificate is an advantage but can be arranged after arrival

Important: Formal education is not the main focus. Proven practical experience, motivation, and the right attitude are equally important.

Employment Details

• Project Duration: 1+ year, with potential for multi-year employment for good performers
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
• Salary: €15–16 gross per hour
• Approximate Net Salary: €535–575 per week
