Job description

Our client specializes in producing, collecting, storing in bulk silos, packaging, and reloading pellets and plastics for automotive and other industries. Currently, the company is looking for an experienced forklift driver to join its ranks.

Job Overview

• Core Tasks: Loading and unloading bulk trucks and packed trailers, packaging activities, and general warehouse work.
• Daily Duties: Operating a forklift for loading trailers and stacking items in the warehouse, connecting bulk units to silos for unloading, loading bulk trailers, and working as part of the packaging team.

Work takes place alternating between early and late shifts (06:45–14:45 and 14:45–22:45), with a workload of 40 hours per week.

Overtime is possible, with premium compensation rates (30% on normal weekdays, 50% on Saturdays, and 100% on Sundays and holidays).

The gross salary can reach €17 per hour (depending on experience). Salaries are paid in every two weeks. 7.5% shift allowance, home-to-work travel allowance, and an 8% holiday allowance (vakantiegeld).

Holiday Entitlement: 23 holiday days per year.

Requirements

• Certifications & Skills: Must hold a valid forklift license with proven experience (minimum 1 year), a VCA certificate, and a safe working attitude.
• Physical & Personal Traits: Must not be afraid of heights, be healthy and fit, and display good motivation.
• Accommodation: Willing to share a room with other tenants.
