The client is a prominent Dutch company specializing in the wholesale, import, and export of flower bulbs since 1947, based in Hillegom. Offering over 1,000 varieties of flower bulbs. The company supplies individual customers, businesses, garden centers, nurseries, landscapers, and wholesale clients throughout Europe and beyond.

Job Description

You will work across two specialized departments in a warehouse environment at normal temperatures:

• Green Garden: Order picking and preparing orders for larger wholesale customers.
• Bulbi: Order picking and preparing orders for smaller and individual customers.
• Core Tasks: Picking orders, packing flower bulbs into boxes, and arranging boxes neatly onto pallets.

Workdays are Monday to Friday (work on Saturdays is rare), with a single shift from 08:00 to 17:00.(This translates to roughly 40 to 47 hours per week)

Overtime applies after regular daily hours; hours exceeding 47 hours per week are paid at a 130% rate.

Daily commute is by bicycle (approx. 2.5 km distance to the workplace).

Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Physically fit, energetic, and motivated (age is not a barrier).
• Personal Gear: Candidates should bring appropriate casual work clothing (T-shirts, shorts, sweatpants).
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a double room, share an accommodation with other employees;
• Partner: Willing to work in different shifts with partner/ friend.
