Job description
Our client is looking for a dedicated Logistics Expedition Worker to join their team. In this role, you will be a key part of the distribution process, ensuring that goods are accurately prepared and loaded for transport to various customers. You will work in a professional warehouse environment where precision and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently loading trucks with outgoing goods and unloading incoming shipments.
- Order Preparation: Checking and preparing orders to ensure they are ready for timely transport.
- Quality Control: Verifying that the correct products and quantities are being shipped.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
The salary for this role is € 14.98, (the gross hourly wage aligned with the Collective Labor Agreement of the client), typically including shift allowances for evening or weekend work.
Options for travel reimbursement or provided transport depending on the location. There are also additional growth opportunities, like access to internal training programs and potential for career advancement within the logistics department.
Work in a team-oriented atmosphere with dedicated coordinators to assist with your integration.
This position typically involves a full-time schedule (40 hours per week). Shift times may vary, but candidates should be prepared for the following general rotations:
- Day Shifts: Early morning starts to coordinate with transport departures.
- Evening/Night Shifts: Preparing inventory for the following day’s deliveries.
Candidate Requirements
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical work and stay active throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
- Communication: B1 proficiency in English or Dutch to understand safety instructions and logistics documentation.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not always mandatory.
