About the Role

This position blends machine operation with internal warehouse logistics. As a Cheese Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing automated packaging systems, managing storage workflows, maintaining strict quality controls, and occasionally operating a reach truck to keep materials moving fluidly through the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Monitoring: Efficiently operate, monitor, and control high-speed packaging lines and storage processes within the cheese warehouse.
• Line Management: Supervise daily production lines to maintain optimal output, efficiency, and flow.
• Quality Assurance: Perform strict, routine quality checks on dairy products and packaging integrity to spot deviations or irregularities.
• First-Line Maintenance: Utilize your technical insight to carry out basic preventative maintenance tasks and resolve initial machine troubleshooting.
• Logistics & Reach Truck Operations: Support the physical loading, unloading, and general logistical handling of dairy products, which includes driving a reach truck on an occasional basis.
• Hygiene Compliance: Maintain total compliance with strict food safety, personal hygiene, and industrial cleaning systems at all times.

The salary for this role is €17.78 gross per hour awarded immediately upon successful completion of the internal training program and a positive assessment of your operator skills.

Additionally, you can earn substantial extra pay added automatically to your base hours:

• • Day Shifts: +10% allowance
  • Night Shifts: +20% allowance

What We Are Looking For

• : Certifications & Skills: Proven experience operating a reach truck, and certification is required.
• Language Skills: Good communication skills in Dutch OR solid English proficiency paired with a genuine willingness to learn the Dutch language.
• Experience: Prior experience working as an operator or within an active production/industrial environment is mandatory.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong technical insight and an affinity for understanding automated production processes.
• Shift Flexibility: Absolute willingness to work within a fully rotating morning, day, and night shift framework.
• Mindset: A reliable, highly motivated professional who can work both independently and accurately under tight quality standards.
