Bus Driver with experience in public transport (€550–€620 net per week) in Netherlands

Are you a professional bus driver looking for a new challenge in a dynamic city?

We are seeking experienced and dedicated drivers from across the EU to join our client’s public transport team. As a driver, you’ll be more than just behind the wheel: you’ll serve as a host, guide, and connection point for passengers ranging from daily commuters and students to tourists. You’ll be driving modern buses, including a growing fleet of electric vehicles, as the company aims for a 100% zero-emission fleet by 2030.

Your Responsibilities

• Safely and smoothly transport passengers across various routes
• Operate modern and electric buses
• Ensure excellent customer service and communication with passengers
• Represent the company as a friendly and responsible driver
• Follow traffic and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a bus driver in public transport
• Valid D driving license and Code 95 endorsement
• Valid Medical Certificate (assistance available if needed)
• Criminal record check (VOG) from your home country
• Own car for commuting to/from work would be a great plus (rental possible for €75 net a week. No private use. Fuel costs on the driver.)
• Female drivers are more than welcome!

Working Conditions

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week (average)
• Irregular shifts between 05:00 a.m. and 01:00 a.m.
• 4-week paid training period with a mentor driver to learn routes and company systems
• Work on less than 20 routes initially (2 routes to start)
• Weekly planning of shifts
• Maximum of 90 hours in two weeks

Salary & Allowances

• €550–€620 net per week (depending on shifts and allowances)
• Base hourly wage: €17.74 – €24.72 gross
• Irregular hours allowance (ORT): 15%–55%
  • Early shift (05:30–06:00): +€6 per shift
  • Evening shift (15:00–18:00): +€23–€48 per shift
  • Saturday: +€45 per shift
  • Sunday: +€65 per shift
• Extra bonuses:
  • First Aid: €15.41/month
  • Broken service: €22.19 each
  • Diploma surcharge (Code 95): €59.03/month
