Bus driver (600-800€ net/week) in Netherlands

At the moment TCS Nederland is recruiting bus drivers for several major public transportation companies across the Netherlands. As a bus driver, you play a key role in ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time. This role requires flexibility, as shifts vary from early mornings to late evenings. The bus driver position offers various options, including driving within the city, between cities, and even internationally (depending on your experience). Your responsibilities may include driving routes for the municipality, transporting students to schools, and taking groups of people to various events. This diverse role allows you to engage with different passengers.

Job Responsibilities

• Transporting passengers safely under all conditions
• Providing excellent customer service during the ride
• Driving regular and/or electric buses
• Optionally handling digital ticket sales
• Reporting issues like traffic delays or vehicle defects
• Performing basic bus maintenance checks before starting shifts

Job Requirements (Only candidates meeting all criteria will be interviewed!)

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• EU nationality/citizenship
• Valid EU Driver’s License (D category)
• Valid Code 95 & Tachograph card (must be arranged in home country if needed)
• Minimum 1 year of recent driving experience (within the past 3 years)
• Clean Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) required later in the process

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly wage: From €16.30 (varies by client and experience)
• Workweek: 36-40 hours (according to client’s CLA)
• Overtime & shift allowances: Paid weekly
• Net salary: Starting from €2,600 per month
• Holiday allowance: 8% (paid weekly)

Additional Benefits

• Housing: Private room in a shared house (€0 – €112 per week, depends on the client)
• Accommodation: Within max. 45 min travel time to work
• Travel allowance: From €0.22/km (based on fastest ANWB route)

Additional Costs (deducted from salary)

• Health insurance: €38.02 per week
• Optional car rental: €75 per week (own car or rental required)
• Travel to the Netherlands: At candidate’s own expense

Onboarding Process

1. Interview with TCS Recruiter
2. Job offer with specific terms from the client
3. (For certain clients) Psychological assessment – you have to be ready to take the Psychological Assessment during the recruitment process (you will need computer with bigger screen and mouse to take the it)
4. Introductory video call with the client
5. (For certain clients) Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) application
6. Contract signing & onboarding
7. Travel planning to the Netherlands
8. BSN (Citizen Service Number) & medical examination upon arrival
