As a Trailer Truck Mechanic, you are responsible for maintaining and repairing trailers and semi-trailers to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and fully compliant with transport regulations. You play a key role in keeping the fleet operational and supporting daily logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical inspections of trailer chassis, braking systems, axles, tires, lighting, hydraulics, and electrics
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues (brakes, suspension, alignment, etc.)
• Conduct routine maintenance: greasing, replacing brake pads, tires, seals, and worn components
• Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs when required
• Test hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems to ensure roadworthiness
• Document all maintenance work and inspections according to safety standards
• Attend breakdowns or perform on-site repairs when needed
• Manage and request spare parts inventory

Job Requirements

• Vocational education in truck/trailer mechanics or heavy vehicle maintenance
• Experience with trailer and/or heavy vehicle repair and diagnostics – at least 2 years
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to work with diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and standard workshop tools
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment

Compensation & Benefits

• €600 net per week (40 hours, no shifts)
