Our client is a fishing tackle wholesaler operating a large warehouse and online store. The company distributes fishing equipment and related products to customers and handles a high volume of goods arriving in sea containers. We are looking for experienced and reliable Reach Truck Drivers to support warehouse operations and ensure that pallets are transported and stored in the correct locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a Jungheinrich reach truck safely and efficiently.
• Unload or move pallets arriving from sea containers and transport them to the correct warehouse locations.
• Replenish warehouse stock when required.
• Use a handheld scanner to register and confirm pallet locations in the warehouse system.
• Ensure pallets are stored in the correct locations.
• Follow warehouse safety rules and operating procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organised.

Important Note: This position mainly involves reach truck driving. Order picking is not required, but experience using a scanner is essential.

Candidates must be available for one of the following shifts (schedule and allocation to be confirmed by the employer):

• • Day Shift: 07:00 – 16:00
  • Evening Shift: 15:00 – 23:00

Working Environment: Large warehouse at normal room temperature (no refrigerated or cold-storage environment). Comfortable work clothing is suitable; employees currently wear summer-style clothing, such as shorts or long-sleeved tops.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of recent reach truck driving experience.
• Practical experience operating a reach truck, preferably a Jungheinrich model.
• Experience using a handheld scanner in a warehouse.
• A reach truck certificate is preferred, ideally a valid Dutch certificate (a valid EU certificate may also be considered).
• Candidates without a Dutch certificate may still be considered, as the Dutch certificate can be arranged.
• A safe, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work accurately and follow warehouse instructions.
• Willing to share a room with other tenants.
• Willing to work in different shifts with a partner.
