Plumber – Residential Construction and Floor Installations (€630–€670 net/week) na Holanda

We are looking for experienced plumbers for long-term residential construction projects in the Netherlands.

The projects may include new houses, apartment buildings and flats. Some projects involve standard residential plumbing work, while others involve installing prefabricated plumbing elements in concrete floors before the concrete is poured.

Candidates may apply if they match either type of residential project. Experience with floor installations or tunnel construction is not required for every position.

Main responsibilities

Depending on the project, your work may include:

• Installing hot and cold water pipes
• Installing sewage and drainage systems
• Installing rainwater drainage
• Installing sanitary systems and sanitary ware
• Installing central-heating systems and heating pipework
• Installing plumbing systems in houses, apartments and flats
• Installing prefabricated pipework in concrete floors
• Connecting prefabricated elements to or underneath steel reinforcement
• Checking and testing completed installations
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Coordinating with electricians, ventilation technicians and construction workers

The exact duties will depend on the project assigned to the candidate.

Who can apply?

Candidates can apply if they match at least one of the following profiles:

Residential plumber

Experience installing plumbing, sanitary, drainage or heating systems in houses, apartments or flats.

Floor-installation plumber

Experience with tunnel construction, “working the floors,” prefabricated plumbing elements or installing pipework around steel reinforcement before concrete is poured.

Candidates do not need experience in both areas.

Requirements

You should have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a plumber, heating technician or CV mechanic (if worked abroad) OR 2 years of similar work experience in the Netherlands.
• Experience in residential construction
• Experience installing plumbing, sanitary, drainage or heating systems
• The ability to work from technical drawings
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work safely with other trades on site

For floor-installation projects, experience with prefabricated elements, tunnel construction or concrete-floor installations is strongly preferred.

Relevant technical experience

Experience with one or more of the following systems or materials is useful:

• Mapress
• Uponor
• Geberit
• Rehau
• Henco
• Copper
• PP
• HDPE
• PVC drainage pipes
• Tyleen
• PTFE

Candidates do not need experience with every system listed. Recruiters should specify which systems and materials the candidate has used.

Additional skills

The following experience is considered an advantage:

• Bending copper pipes
• Installing underfloor heating
• Installing kitchen pipework
• Installing gas pipes
• Installing heat pumps
• Soft soldering or brazing
• PE pipe welding
• Working with prefab pipework systems

Certificates and other requirements

• Valid VCA safety certificate
• Professional plumbing education or technical training is preferred

Working conditions

• Location: Various projects in the Netherlands, mainly in the western part of the country, including the Amsterdam and The Hague regions
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• Typical schedule: 07:00–15:45
• Breaks: Morning coffee break, lunch break and afternoon coffee break
• Overtime: Generally not available
• A higher salary may be possible after demonstrated suitability
