The client is a leading foodservice company operating across the Netherlands and Belgium. They supply a comprehensive range of food, beverages, and non-food products to professionals in the hospitality, catering, leisure, healthcare, and corporate dining sectors.

As an Orderpicker, you will work closely with your team to achieve daily goals and keep our logistics pipeline running efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Order Fulfillment: Picking customer orders using our Warehouse Management System (WMS), scanning, labeling, stacking, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Inventory Control: Checking product quantities and reporting any discrepancies.
• Inbound/Outbound: Loading and unloading goods.
• Workplace Standards: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace while strictly following quality, safety, and HACCP procedures.

Hourly rate is €17.20 EUR/h, weekly net is from 380 EUR (after taxes and accommodation deduction).

Allowances:

• • €0.34/hour for hours worked between 15:30 and 20:00.
  • €1.25/hour for hours worked between 20:00 and 22:00.
  • €5.16/hour for hours worked between 22:00 and the end of the shift.
  • An extra €0.86/hour for working in a cold environment.
  • Overtime: Paid at 150% when required.
  • Meal vouchers 9€/worked day.

Working Environment & Schedule

• The Environment: This is a physically active role based in a chilled warehouse environment (0°C to 4°C). During busy periods or to support colleagues, you will also be expected to work in the freezer (-20°C). Full, appropriate protective clothing and equipment are provided.
• Training Period: Your first 2 weeks will be on the day shift. During this time, you will also learn how to operate a unique order-collecting truck.
• Regular Shift Schedule: Following training, you will switch to the regular night shift, working Sunday to Thursday from 16:30 to 00:00.

Requirements:

• Experience: A few years of experience as an order picker utilizing barcode scanners and WMS software.
• Physical Fitness: Excellent physical condition, as you enjoy physical work and some products can weigh up to 25 kg.
• Mindset: An accurate, safe, and reliable team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to work in freezing temperatures when needed.
• Accommodation: Employees may have to share their rooms with other working tenants.
