Our client, a metalworking company based in Venray, operates across multiple sectors including the automotive, medical, food, furniture and design, musical instruments, and construction industries.
In this informal and skilled environment, raw metal products are transformed into high-quality finished components through processes such as sawing, polishing, blasting, grinding, and tumbling.
As a Grinder, you will play an essential role in the final stage of metal production, ensuring each product meets strict quality standards. Your work will include both manual and robotic grinding and polishing, primarily focused on aluminum casting parts for the automotive industry.
The facility features modern grinding machines capable of manual deburring, polishing, and brushing, offering a technically varied and engaging position.

Main Responsibilities:
- Grind and polish aluminum casting parts, primarily for automotive applications
- Perform both rough and fine finishing work, including removal of casting residue and imperfections
- Inspect processed products for deviations and defects
- Operate various grinding and polishing tools and machinery
- Maintain and clean all machines and tools
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production and quality targets
Requirements
- Proven experience in grinding and polishing metal components (at least 2 years)
- Skilled in working with cast iron, cast aluminum, and other materials
- Willing to work in a day shift schedule
- Good physical condition (lifting aids are available for heavy materials)
- Experience in serial production and manual product finishing is an advantage
- Knowledge of grinding cast materials is a plus, though not essential
- Available on short notice

- Salary: €540 net per week
