Are you a skilled forklift operator who enjoys active, hands-on work? Our client is a tight-knit, small family business of about 8 employees based in IJmuiden. They are looking for a reliable Forklift Driver & Pallet Repairer to join our team for a long-term cooperation.

This is a dynamic role where your time will be split between operating a forklift and manually repairing wooden pallets. You will be working both inside the warehouse and on the outside terrain, making this a perfect job for someone who likes variety and physical, practical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Forklift Operation: Safely transport, stack, and organize large post pallets and wooden materials across the indoor warehouse and outdoor yard.
• Pallet Repair & Maintenance: Use manual and power tools (saws, cutters, nail guns) to inspect, repair, and rebuild damaged wooden pallets.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure all repaired pallets meet quality standards for reuse, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

The salary for the role is €16.50 gross per hour witha clean, 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday (08:00 to 17:00) with no weekend work, no holidays, and no mandatory overtime.

Comfortable accommodation is arranged for you in Velsen-Noord. A company bicycle is provided for just €5/week (a pleasant 25-minute commute to the workplace).

Requirements

• Certifications: A valid Forklift License/Certificate is required.
• Technical Skills: Experience handling standard working tools (saws, nailing tools) and a knack for basic woodwork or repair.
• Physical Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, manual labor.
• Language: Communicative English is required (knowledge of Polish is a strong plus).
• Commitment: Looking for long-term stable cooperation (minimum stay of 6 months).
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
