At Veltman Automotive B.V. we are passionate about top-quality cars and exceptional service. We are currently looking for an experienced Car Mechanic to strengthen our dynamic and informal team.

As a Car Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of pre-owned vehicles while ensuring the high standards Veltman Automotive is known for.

Your tasks will include:

• Replacing driveline components such as axles and driveshafts
• Performing tire replacements and wheel balancing
• Replacing cylinder heads and head gaskets with precision
• Servicing and replacing timing belts
• Maintaining and repairing advanced electronic systems
• Undertaking clutch repairs and replacements
• Carrying out engine and drivetrain maintenance
• Repairing suspensions and steering systems
• Replacing brake pads and ensuring optimal brake performance
• Diagnosing and repairing transmissions
• Handling oils and fluids with care and expertise

Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and help maintain Veltman Automotive’s strong reputation within the automotive sector.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

• 3–5 years of proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance
• Strong technical knowledge of driveline systems, cylinder heads, and timing belts
• Experience with electronic systems, suspension repairs, and transmission servicing
• Solid understanding of engine and drivetrain maintenance
• Ability to perform accurate diagnostics and work carefully with oils and fluids
• A detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

An automotive vocational qualification or equivalent is considered an advantage.
