We are looking for a C cat. truck driver to transport food and beverages to restaurants, pubs, cafés, and sportcafés in and around Amsterdam. Goods are delivered on roll containers, and loading/unloading is part of the job.

You will work from Monday to Saturday, starting between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m., delivering to 10–15 addresses per day. This job can be physically demanding, as some deliveries (e.g., drinks) may need to be carried into basements.

Requirements

• Communicative knowledge of the English language
• Valid driving license category C, Code 95 and a digital tachograph card
• Own car to commute to and from work
• Physical strength and willingness to do the heavy loading/unloading
• Flexibility
• ***Important! This role is also open also to inexperienced drivers, who will receive training and support.
• Good appearance and communication skills (contact with clients)

Additional Information

• Deliveries take place at various types of venues in the Netherlands, including narrow streets in Amsterdam; good appearance and fluent English are required
• Online meeting with the client via Microsoft Teams prior to starting; if successful, candidates will take a driving test at a Driving School before beginning employment
• Inexperienced drivers will initially work alongside a mentor driver during their training period
• Candidate selection criteria include prior experience with visiting clients, pump trucks, tailgates (tail lifts), PDAs/board computers, and high stop counts
• Hourly wage starts at D5 scale (€18.71 per hour)
• Truck type: new electric Renault trucks with automatic gearbox (license for automatic allowed)
