Our client is seeking two motivated candidates to join a professional pig breeding farm in Sevenum as service employees. This is a crucial role focused on the care, management, and smooth operation of the livestock production cycle. While experience is a plus, your motivation and affinity for working with animals are the most important factors—full training will be provided if needed.

Core Responsibilities:

• Animal Husbandry: Daily care and oversight, primarily of pigs.
• Production Tasks: Routine cleaning and maintenance of stables (pigs, and sometimes chickens).
• Veterinary Support: Assisting with animal treatments, including vaccinations (enting), and controlling animal health.
• Specialized Tasks: Performing procedures such as pig castration.

The compensation for the role starts at €15.04 per hour and may reach €17.98 per hour. There's potential for reaching overtime as a typical workweek is between 34 to 50 hours.

This is a long-term role as the work is performed year-round inside the barn. Note that tasks can be physically demanding and varied. Also, depending on the weekly planning, you must be available for work on Saturdays. Occasional work with cows and goats may also be possible.Lastly, employees must stay the whole initial period; no holidays during the first 3 months. After 3 months, maximum of 5 weeks of holiday annually (in consultation).

Requirements (Must-Haves):

• Experience: Affinity for animals is required. Any previous experience with livestock (especially pigs) is a strong advantage and should be clearly highlighted in your CV.
• Physical Suitability: The work is physically intensive and demanding.
• Hygiene Standards: Must adhere to strict hygiene rules (e.g., no piercings, no long nails) typical in the animal production sector.
• Commitment: Must be flexible with working hours and commit to staying for the entire period.
