We’re looking for experienced carpenters to join Startblock, an innovative construction company revolutionizing sustainable housing in the Netherlands. Our factory-built, circular homes are designed for fast delivery and minimal environmental impact.

Startblock, based in Emmeloord, is reshaping the housing market with our sustainable and circular homes. Built entirely in a factory setting, our homes are ready to live in within six days. We use PEFC- and FSC-certified wood, and 80% of our building materials are reusable, making us a leader in environmentally conscious construction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Workshop-based carpentry work, crafting high-quality components for sustainable homes.
• Working in a dynamic team to produce modular housing units.

Requirements

• Proven experience in carpentry, preferably in workshop-based environments (at least 1 year).
• Reliability, precision, and a team-oriented attitude.

What We Offer

• Pay rate: €13 net per hour.
• Free accommodation near the workplace (just 10 km away).
• Company car and fuel card provided.
• We arrange and pay for the employee’s travel costs to the Netherlands. If the employee works for us for more than 8 weeks, they do not need to repay these travel costs.
