Our client, Peridot, a thriving medium-sized company, specializing in the production of delicious snacks and plant-based products, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to join our essential logistics team in Millingen aan de Rijn, Netherlands.

The candidates will play a crucial role in managing the flow of raw materials and ensuring our high-quality products, such as dried tomatoes, olives, sauces, and pastes, are ready for shipment. They will be working in both warm and cold production environments, offering a varied and engaging workday.

Main Job Responsibilities Include:

• Efficiently loading and unloading trucks.
• Precisely moving raw materials between our warehouse and production areas.
• Actively assisting in packaging, labeling, and preparing our diverse range of products for shipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, including the proper arrangement of pallets.
• Safely operating an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) and forklifts (if you hold the necessary certification) for material handling tasks.
• Accurately conducting inventory checks and diligently managing stock levels to ensure seamless production readiness.
• Proactively supporting production by transporting materials from the warehouse to the production floor and back as needed.

The starting salary for these positions is €14.85 per hour for all ages above 18 with flexible shifts starting between 06:00 and 12:00.

What The Company is Looking For:

• A valid driving license.
• Proven forklift experience and a (Dutch) forklift certification are essential.
• Basic to intermediate English language skills (B1 level or higher) to ensure effective communication.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics role is a requirement.
• Exceptional attention to detail, patience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while effectively prioritizing your workload.

Work Conditions to Expect:

• Flexible shifts starting between 06:00 and 12:00, with two shifts scheduled per day.
• Working in a cold environment as part of our production process.
• A standard 38-hour work week, with potential opportunities for overtime.
• Compensation that aligns with the applicable CAO regulations.
• Work clothing will be provided by Peridot.
