You will be responsible for assembling and installing machinery and mechanical installations onboard a newly built dredge ship.

Main Tasks:

• Assembling mechanical components (pumps, filters, valves, etc.) into complete units
• Installing machinery, electrical components, and other equipment on board
  • Inspecting, aligning, and adjusting onboard systems such as: pump systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, cooling water systems, engines, gearboxes, dredging pumps
• Working with precision alignments (within 0.05 mm)
• Using hand tools and machines to machine and fit parts
• Handling and reading precision measuring tools
• Performing tasks based on verbal instructions, technical drawings, and manuals
• Ensuring compliance with installation and safety standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical skills
• Comfortable using technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Ability to work independently and coordinate tasks with the team
• Safety Certifications:
  • VCA Basic Safety (or willingness to obtain before start)
  • Working Safely with Cranes (or willingness to obtain before start)

Working Conditions:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 5 x 8 hours/day = 40 hours/week (overtime possible)
• Holidays: As agreed with team lead/planner
• Salary: €750 net per week for 40 hours (after tax and housing deductions)
• Accommodation: Provided by the agency (private room)
• Food: At employee's own expense
• Travel from home country: At employee’s expense
• Health Insurance: Optional via Holland Zorg at approx. €38/week
• Payments: Weekly on Fridays
