Join one of the strongest technical teams in the Netherlands. VDL Staal Service is growing fast, and we’re looking for skilled MAG 135 welders who are ready to take the next step in their career. With large, long-term projects for the automotive, defense, and simulation industries, you’ll never weld the same thing twice.

Whether you’re experienced in chassis welding or sheet metal work, this is your chance to work with a team that values your craft, offers stability, and supports you every step of the way.

What you will do:

• Weld chassis components for buses using jigs and molds
• Build large modules (up to 6×2 meters) with precision and care
• Read technical drawings and measure to ensure accurate welding
• Work with sheet metal and tubes (mainly up to 6 mm thickness)
• Perform MAG welding (135) to produce clean, strong joints
• Check and ensure high welding quality, safety, and consistency
• Keep your tools and workspace in perfect condition
• Cooperate with the floor team and production staff

Requirements:

• Experience as MAG welder with hands-on sheet metal/tube experience (at least 2 years)
• Welding certification is a plus, but not mandatory
• Able to read technical drawings and work independently
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and quality-focused
• Team player who’s eager to grow and take responsibility

• €600 net per week, based on 40 hours (day shift), with English communication for candidates with technical drawing skills
